in the blink of an eye

Life changes so fast at my age. Your life can take a complete 360 degree turn from semester to semester. Your apartment changes, your roommates change, your classes change, your relationships change, your opinions change, your testimony changes, your major changes, and unfortunately sometimes your weight changes. It's hard not to compare your current life with the way that life was a couple months ago. It's hard not to miss the way things used to be. It's hard to think that the way life is now could be completely different in what feels like the blink of an eye.

not cut out for college

Yep. That's right. I forgot that I had a test today. Totally failed. Who does that? I am not cut out for college. My mom told me that I can come and move into the basement and work at McDonald's. That sounds ten thousand times better than college. Maybe i'll find that i'm actually good at something. Even if that something is flipping burgers. Because I have yet to find something up here in Logan that i'm good at. Goodbye Logan, hello Lehi McDonald's.

I Must Be Getting Old

You know that you're getting old when you ideal weekend consists of going out to dinner with your parents and watching TV with them. That is exactly what I wanted this weekend and I was lucky enough to get it. I love spending time with me family. Lately that is all that I want to do. I could care less about going to parties and staying up late with my friends in college. I would rather hang out with my family any day of the week. I love them so much and I am so grateful for everything that they do for me. My parents have made so many sacrifices on my behalf and I know that I will never ever be able to repay them. My brother and sister are just about as great as they get. I am so blessed to have them in my life. I love you family! Thanks for the best weekend ever!
